International Relations

The Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies boasts a history of 30 years and it is the pioneer institute in Sri Lanka in the study of international relations. In pursuance of the Specific and general objectives, the Centre conducts regular Certificate, Diploma and Higher Diploma/Post-Graduate Diploma Courses. The curricula for the courses, modernised up to 21st Century standards, have been formulated in partnership with the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.

The Certificate course creates an opportunity for the school leavers, undergraduates, public/private sector employees, members of the Armed Forces and Police to acquire the basic knowledge necessary to join in or switch over to the fields of Foreign Service, Foreign Missions, NGOs and INGOs. more>

The Diploma course takes a step further with the focus of study on International Law/Human Rights/Organisations, etc., and is designed to stimulate interest in further studies. more>
