Final Examination prerequisite
80% lecture attendance in each and every subject will be an absolute must to gain admission to sit the final exams
Examination Criteria
Evaluation will be based on continuous assessments (minimum of two assignments per subject) plus final examinations in the core subjects except Research Methodology.
The Post-Graduate Diploma candidates will require appearing for a viva on the dissertation.
Examination Fees
Rs. 500.00 for the full examination (local candidates)
US$ 25 for the full examination (foreign candidates)
Repeat Exams
Repeat exams will be held in every 06 months. Candidates who refer or fail in one or more subjects should re-sit the exam/s.
Only 3 consecutive attempts will be allowed to complete the exams.
Pass Marks
Every subject will be assessed at 100 marks. The assignments in each subject will have a 20% contribution (maximum) to the final examination in that subject.
In addition, the dissertation will be equivalent to two taught courses and, hence, carry 200 marks.
Assignment of grades and other related criteria will be similar to that of the Certificate and Diploma programmes.
Repeat Examination Fees
A fee of Rs. 200.00 from local candidates and a US$ 10 from foreign candidates will be charged per repeat subject.
Course Completion
Candidates must pass in all subjects. Those who refer or fail in one of more subjects should re-sit the exam/s in the respective subject/s. However, those who have referred in not more than one subject (except for the dissertation) will still be eligible for the award of the certificate provided that their overall average is above 40%.
Only 3 consecutive attempts will be allowed to complete the exams.
Award of Certificates
The certificates will be awarded to those who successfully complete the courses at an Award Ceremony/Convocation to be held annually.

Post-Graduate Diploma in International Relations(IR4) - Rs. 25,000.00 plus a dissertation fee of Rs. 5000.00 (local candidates)
US$ 500 plus a dissertation fee of US$ 40 (foreign candidates)
