GENDER ISSUES
The term ‘gender’ creates many issues and images, often the physical differences between male and female are the first to come to mind. However, gender equity is often argued to be a socially constructed concept and affected by economic, social, political & environmental factors. Achieving gender equity is a difficult task that we all face, and impacted by the many competing factors that influence men and women’s positions within the community.
